I Believe Music Should Make You Feel Free

I started singing and playing piano at age 6 and trained through university, becoming Royal Conservatory of Music accredited, and I quickly learned that rigid, one-size-fits-all teaching is not it. My favourite moments are turning bad days into great lessons and hearing parents say their child gained the confidence to audition or try something new.

I'm always reminding my students there's no finish line when it comes to learning. Recording my own album pushed my vocal agility and recording my first music video with my grandma, sister, and brother-in-law made it extra special.

Voice and Piano Lessons That Build Skill, Confidence, and a Strong Foundation

I teach voice and piano that prepares students for real success, not just a good Instagram clip. The truth is, anyone can call themselves a singing teacher. No licence, no governing body, no required training. In a field this unregulated, credentials alone are not enough. That’s why my approach is built on ongoing education, voice science, and professional collaboration.

I’ll always explain the reason behind what we’re doing, prioritize long term vocal growth over quick fixes, and stay honest about what exercise or song choice actually serves your voice. Because when it comes to vocal training, especially as children grow, integrity matters just as much as technique.

I keep it fun by covering many different genres including pop, musical theatre, and classical, focusing on technique, artistry, and performance. Piano lessons focus on reading, timing, and building a solid musical foundation, all while keeping in mind how young minds learn and develop.

Singing and piano lessons from ages 6 to adult are offered virtually or in my home studio in Ancaster, Ontario.
